About CodevTools
Free, privacy-first developer tools — built for the people who build automations.
🛠 Why CodevTools exists
Developer tooling on the web is often bloated, ad-heavy, or quietly sends your data to a server somewhere. For RPA and automation professionals working with sensitive business data — invoices, credentials, API tokens, internal documents — that's not acceptable.
CodevTools was built to be the opposite: fast, focused tools that do one thing well, with zero friction and a genuine privacy guarantee. No account required. No ads. No data leaving your machine.
🔒 Privacy is not a feature — it's the foundation
Every tool on CodevTools runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you paste a JWT token, a Base64 string, or an API credential — it never touches a server. There is no backend. There is nothing to intercept.
The only external service we use is Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless, GDPR-compliant solution that tells us how many people visit, without tracking who they are or what they do.
👥 Who it's for
CodevTools is built for developers and technical professionals who need reliable, no-nonsense utilities as part of their daily workflow.
⚙️ How it's built
CodevTools is deliberately simple under the hood — plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No framework, no build step, no dependencies beyond what's needed per tool. This keeps it fast, maintainable, and easy to audit.
👋 A personal note
I built CodevTools in my spare time because I kept reaching for the same tools at work — Base64 decoders, cron explainers, regex testers — and found that most of the options online were cluttered, slow, or untrustworthy with sensitive data.
I work in RPA and automation, and I know how often developers in this space handle credentials, API tokens, and business-critical data. These tools should be safe to use without thinking twice. So I built versions I'd trust myself.
CodevTools is a side project — maintained with limited spare time, but built with care. If it saves you 30 seconds or gives you one less thing to worry about, it's done its job.
